Once you arrive, our knowledgeable guide will be there to accompany you as you explore the World War II Pacific National Monument. Dive into the rich history and significance of this historic site and its surroundings.
Our first stop will be at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, where you can take your time exploring various museums at your own pace or with the guidance of our expert tour guide. Immerse yourself in the stories and insights offered by the multilingual audio tour devices, with an extensive range of options available in English.
Next, we'll visit the renowned Arizona Memorial. Before entering, you'll have the opportunity to watch a compelling short film featuring historical footage, setting the stage for your visit. A Navy-operated boat will then take you to the memorial, where you can spend approximately 15 minutes absorbing the profound significance of the site.
After returning to the Visitor Center, our guide will lead you to the USS Bowfin submarine. Step inside and discover the inner workings and operations of this pivotal vessel during World War II. The museum showcases the fascinating evolution of submarine technology, offering a comprehensive look into its history.
Our journey continues to Ford Island, where numerous historic sites await. Due to its status as an active Naval base, we'll ensure transportation is approved and secure. Along the way, you'll catch a glimpse of memorials honoring other ships, such as the USS Oklahoma.
Standing tall and powerful, the USS Battleship Missouri dominates the harbor. This meticulously restored ship symbolizes the monumental end of the war. Marvel at the spot on its deck where Japan officially signed the documents to cease hostilities. During a 35-minute guided tour, a local expert will regale you with captivating stories and share fascinating insights into the ship's impressive battle history.
No trip to Pearl Harbor would be complete without a visit to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Explore hangars filled with meticulously restored airplanes and artifacts that bring the rich aviation history to life. Take a spin in the flight simulator and immerse yourself in the incredible exhibits that commemorate the achievements of aviation pioneers.
To conclude this extraordinary day, we'll take you on a fun tour of historic Honolulu. As we pass through significant sites like Punchbowl Cemetery, 'Iolani Palace, and the King Kamehameha Statue, you'll be left in awe of their historical significance and the stories they hold.
After a full day filled with exploration, heroism, and history, we'll ensure you arrive back at your accommodation by approximately 4:30 p.m., bringing an end to your unforgettable 10-hour adventure. You will be captivated by the wonders of Pearl Harbor and the chance to experience history.
*Note: Sometimes, for reasons outside our control, the Navy might halt or limit the capacity of boat trips to the USS Arizona Memorial. If this happens, you may be placed in a standby queue. Please note that we are unable to provide refunds under these circumstances, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, you can still explore the exhibits, the Visitors' Center, and other monuments within the park.
Timeline
- 6:30 AM - Commence pickups from WaikīkīWaikiki Hotels
- 7:15 AM - Explore Pearl Harbor Visitor Center's museums and exhibits
- 8:30 AM - Take a Navy boat to the USS Arizona Memorial
- 9:30 AM - Tour the USS Bowfin Submarine and its museum
- 11:00 AM - Visit the USS Missouri Battleship, including tours of the decks above and below
- 1:00 PM - Head towards Pearl Harbor Aviation, with a self-paid lunch at Laniakea Cafe
- 3:00 PM - Discover the Punchbowl Crater
- 3:25 PM - Begin a sightseeing tour of Honolulu's historic landmarks from the tour vehicle, including 'Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue, Kawaiaha’o Church, Historic Downtown, Waikīkī, Chinatown, and others
- 4:30 PM - Conclude the tour with returns to hotels or designated drop-off points

Protocol
Visitors are required to bring a valid government-issued ID for entry to the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.
Appropriate and respectful dress is advised, excluding swimwear. Sandals and flip-flops are acceptable, however, closed-toe shoes are recommended due to the significant amount of walking. Skirts, dresses, and high heels are best avoided.
Bags are not permitted for security reasons, including iPad cases and clutch wallets. Wallets should be no larger than a standard-sized cell phone. A bag storage facility is available, with fees of $7.00 per bag for standard bags and $10.00 for oversized luggage.
Your cooperation helps maintain a respectful and secure environment for all visitors.
Only clear bags approved by the US Navy are permitted, as illustrated in the examples below, and must not exceed 1.25" x 2.25" x 5.5" in size.
Dining
This tour does not include lunch. However, you'll find several food and beverage options available during the day. Remember to bring your own water, though there will be places to refill your bottle for free. Seating for dining is available at the Bowfin Museum's visitor center, on the Missouri Battleship, and at the Laniakea Cafe in the Aviation Museum.
Conditions
Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.
No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.
