Narrative

Set out from Waikīkī in our state-of-the-art submarine to see the underwater world up close! The tour starts with a shuttle boat that will take you to where you board our submarine, the Atlantis XIV, and begin your underwater adventure properly. Once you board the vehicle, the underwater portion will last about 45 to 50 minutes and requires being able to descend an 11-rung ladder. The Atlantis XIV is the largest submarine of its type in the world and features onboard air conditioning, with large viewing windows to see the wonders of the oceans off Hawai'i.

While on this journey, you can expect to see some incredible sea creatures and human-made reefs. Eels, green sea turtles, coral reefs, and dazzlingly colorful fish make their home in these waters. Additionally, we will pass by artificial reefs, old planes, and shipwrecks, with our guides telling you their stories as we do. If you want to hear the narration in a language other than English, we are more than happy to provide! With a quick download, you can hear the narration in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean. That way, everyone can get involved in the stories these magnificent waters hold.

Please meet at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (2005 Kalia Rd. Honolulu, HI 96815) at Atlantis beachfront pavilion in front of the Ali'i Tower. The boat will leave from the pier just out in front.

We have a cancellation policy that requires our guests to contact us at least 72-hour prior to the tour start to change, update or cancel their reservation for a full refund. Guests who cancel, do not show, or make changes to their reservation within 72-hours will not qualify for any cash refund.

The timeline provided for the tour is an example and some stops may not be available on the day of your tour. Your guide will make up those missing stops with other features. You will not be entitled to any discount or partial refund for missed stops, due to events we can not control.

In the event of an issue where we have to cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund.
