Enjoy a Safe and Relaxing Journey Through the Kualoa Ranch

We welcome riders of all levels, from beginner horseback riders to experienced equestrians. All our horses are well trained and used to carrying new guests. Our guide will provide you with training and a safety briefing before your 2-hour tour begins and will be on hand to ensure your comfort and safety. We will also provide helmets and specialized raincoats which will not disturb the horses. Please note, backpacks are not permitted and your guide may not allow you to dismount your horse to take photos for your safety and the safety of other riders.

Nestled along the northeastern coast of Oʻahu is the Kualoa Ranch, a private nature reserve that spans an impressive 4,000 acres. Take in astonishing views of lush green valleys, dense forests and charming dirt trails as you gently meander through this picturesque valley. This captivating location is often used for weddings, business receptions, birthday celebrations and other special occasions. Our expert local guide will lead the way pointing out interesting highlights and sharing with you the beauty of Hawaiian culture and heritage.

All our horses are well-trained however participants must be a minimum of 10 years old, be at least 4'6” tall and weigh under 230 pounds. We do not recommend that expectant mothers or those with back problems partake. To ensure rider comfort and safety, we provide specialized raincoats that won't disturb or scare the horses. Backpacks are not permitted and the helmets provided must be worn. It is important to note that sometimes guides will not permit riders to dismount horses to take pictures.

We have a cancellation policy that requires our guests to contact us at least 72 hours prior to the tour start to change, update or cancel their reservation for a full refund. Guest who cancel, do not show, or make changes to their reservation within 72 hours will not qualify for any cash refund.

Do you offer transportation to and from Kualoa Ranch?

We offer return shared group transportation from Waikīkī hotels for $30 per person at particular pickup and return times. You can also request private transportation for a specific pickup and return time for $150 per person.
What should I bring?

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen, sun protection and a camera for photos. Closed-toe shoes are required for this tour.
