In 2002, a state-of-the-art marine education center was established, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about the incredible marine life within Hanauma Bay. As part of our commitment to conservation, first-time visitors are required to watch a 9-minute video before entering the park. This informative video highlights the importance of marine life preservation and safety rules for everyone's enjoyment.

Limited parking spaces? No problem! We've got you covered with our convenient shuttle service. Hanauma Bay, with its diverse marine life population and expansive coral reef, has been designated an official protected Marine Life Conservation Area and underwater park since 1967. This natural wonder is an absolute "must-see"!

Immerse yourself in the bay's tranquil waters as you swim among a coral reef teeming with over 450 species of vibrant tropical fish, a quarter of which are exclusive to Hawaii.

Our comprehensive tour package ensures your comfort and enjoyment. It includes round-trip transportation from Waikiki, lasting around 30 minutes each way. You'll also have access to professional-grade, sanitized equipment such as a silicon-tempered mask, J-type snorkel, and endurance vinyl acetate fins. Our expert instructors are on hand to provide guidance and support throughout the experience. And if you need it, we've got you covered with mask defogger upon request.
A $25 admission charge to Hanauma Bay is not included, must bring CASH for the admission ticket. The entrance fee is waived for children under 13, members of the military (ID required), and for residents of Hawaii with proof of residency.

What to Bring & What to Wear: Please bring cash for the entrance fee, a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended.

Terms & Conditions:

Food and beverages are available for purchase at the park.
Optional snorkeling accessories, such as underwater cameras, dry snorkels, prescription masks, and flotation vests, can be rented for an additional fee.
All visitors to Hanauma Bay State Park must watch a mandatory 10-minute video on safety and conservation.
The tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled in cases of extreme weather.
Any loss or damage to the snorkeling equipment will incur a charge.

Conditions

We have a cancellation policy that requires our guests to contact us at least 72 hours prior to the tour start to change, update or cancel their reservation for a full refund. Guest who cancel, do not show, or make changes to their reservation within 72 hours will not qualify for any cash refund.

In the event of an issue where we have to cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund.
